Event: Instrumental Solo & Ensemble Festival (OMEA District 05)
Date: Saturday, March 2nd, 2024
Scheduling happens following the close of registrations and will be released as soon as possible.
Location: Ridgeview High School, 4555 SW Elkhorn Ave., Redmond, OR, 97756
Applicable grades/instruments: Middle and High School students (grades 6-12). Open to solo performers & ensembles on wind instruments, strings, percussion, & piano. Note that piano students are not state eligible (there is no state solo category for piano).
Registration time slots are 10-20 minutes, depending on category and scheduling constraints. Note that performances must be under 10 minutes regardless of given time slot.
This contest follows the rules and requirements described in the OSAA State Solo Music Handbook and the OMEA State Chamber Ensemble Rules.

Registration Information
All registration for this event must use the OpusEvent system and payment processing.
Registration Pricing
Soloists: $20
Ensembles: $15+$5 per ensemble member, with a max of $50
e.g. duets are $25, trios $30, quartets $35, etc.
Special pricing for Middle School students: $10 per slot regardless of soloist/ensemble
Registration opens: January 29th, 2024
Registration closes: February 12th, 2024
